2016 Season Preview

As the start of the 2016 BFHL season gets closer by the day, it's time for the this year's season preview.

OFFENSE:

As many already know, the future of Sunnyvale's all time leading goal scorer has not been yet determined. Middlebrook, who is currently not signed with the team, is still undecided if he'll don the royal blue for the 2016 season. This leaves a huge void in the team in terms of goal production, but may have the solution in another Middlebrook. Mark Middlebrook is in talks with the team and if all goes as planned, the Samsquanches may be able to boast both Middlebrook's.

After a successful season for Thibault and Unick, the duo looks to produce even more this time around and will try to give the team that extra support it needs to advance further into the postseason.

The leadership core of Eshelby, Hope and Contreras will need to be factors out there this season. After coming off all-star seasons in '14, Hope and Eshelby will need to showcase their talents that they're capable of as they showed in the team's first season. Contreras will also have to step up his game to live up to his hype.

Delorme and Kenyi will just need to produce a bit more and their success will lead to team success.

Steffen will need to score lots in his switch from tending the twine to help the team out.

DEFENSE:

The entire team as a whole will need to focus on keeping the puck out of the net this season as 2015's defence was its downfall. As long as whoever is in net this season keeps the puck out of the net with the help of all four guys on the court, this years squad can take it all.
